Raw materials
It all starts with the yarn.
Every shirt we make begins as cotton yarn. We choose fine yarns for each quality and prepare them in our own halls, so colour and consistency are under our control from the very first step.

Controls and selection
Yarn is checked before it enters production, then wound onto soft dye packages at an even density, ready for the dyehouse.

Colour that goes all the way through.
Because we dye the yarn before weaving, stripes and checks keep their depth and clarity, wash after wash.

Why the fibre matters.
Egypt leads the world in long and extra-long staple cotton. The climate and soil of the Nile Delta suit it perfectly.
Longer, smoother fibres lie more parallel in the yarn, so the cloth comes out brighter, crisper, softer and longer-lasting. Two-fold yarns add even more lustre and strength.
